Antonio Gaudi's work is a marvel of architecture, considered some what
weird and unusualy for that period of time but never the less the man's
work speaks a Thousand words. His take on using natural forms and being
inspired by nature to not fail him in his structural stability is pure
genius. A man worthy of having atleast a small memorial to his name. The
project was actually a class project of mine where we were to use grids
to create patterns and make a 3D form of what pattern we create into a
clay model in the shape of a cube of 14 x 14 x 14 in dimension. When the
project included clay a spark of inspiration struck , 'Why not make
something like Antonio Gaudi' and since getting those natural sort of
tree/bone and wrapped gothic form is easy to do with clay i took it as a
challenge to create something that atleast gave the gist of how Antonio
gaudi would think perhaps i have not worked in the way he has worked
but i hope its even 0.1% of what he would expect it to be. The image i
have posted are of the clay model i have made , each photograph is a
different elevation of the model
