This authentic row house with its history of treating wool for use in the curtain industry is located in Brussels Rue aux Laines in the heart of the Sablon and functions as both a relaxed home and a comfortable context for art. The building is divided into a main public space on the ground and first floors while the private quarters and the master bedroom for family and friends occupy the other three levels.Working with the limitation of a protected façade, the design scoops out the interior completely and transforms it into white, light-filled volumes to maximise the amount of space. Full-height windows in the back look out onto the beautiful green space of Egmont Park.
