Defined by a dual geometrical language, Galle Face Tower is a residential development that is sited in the Galle Face, a historically rich and scenic district in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Comprised of two key parts – the rectilinear crate which faces the city and the crystal form which faces the sea – the tower gives rise to diverse visual and living experiences. Enticing visitors to move through a network of shops and cafes, it is framed by an exterior shell that provides a sensitive, contemporary response to the neighbouring building’s colonial façade.
