Galaxy Sala Cinema is inspired by the high-speed train stop. The project is like a high-speed train station in a shopping mall. With the comparison of the cinematic experience as stepping on a train to travel to new worlds.
The investor requested that this be the most advanced cinema in Vietnam in many aspects, from technology, products as well as interior design. The project was implemented after changes in fire prevention standards, so the architect was very limited in the materials used for the interior.
Erasing traditional concepts about the form of a normal cinema. Bright colors and modern materials are used instead of the usual dark feeling. Large curves are designed to bring the feeling of underground dome structure of Metro stations. The corridor in the cinema is designed to make the audience feel like they are walking in a high-speed train. The waiting seating system is also specially designed based on the idea of winding trains, but with a minimalistic line, and a sense of detail. The BO CO counter (popcorn ticket counter) with copper-colored stainless steel material winding through the column position of the project is also inspired by the Metro train's travel map.
