The project is a 5-storey serviced apartment project built in Delhi. The extended façade is a system of green and wooden balconies, creating a conventional separation between the outside and the inside, placed on a base block with barewood. With an area of 160m2 on each floor, we interweave a combination of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, all of which are tiled with Wood floors and Veneer wood furniture, combined with a contemporary design with nuances gentle, and elegant.
With an area of 160m2 on each floor, we interweave a combination of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, all of which are tiled with Wood floors and Veneer wood furniture, combined with a contemporary design with nuances gentle, and elegant. The tall, slender proportion of the tower rising above the precast stone-clad podium is wrapped in a dynamic mix of bronze metal fins and glazed panels. This façade emphasizes the verticality and elegance of the building form, brings contrast in tone and texture, and references the former Timmins brass works once located on the site. To reduce embodied energy, minimize site wastage and deliver consistent quality on a restricted city center site, the façade was constructed from just over 36 unitized panels from a prefabricated assembly with offsite manufacturing.
Where wellness is the X-factor for this resort, only a minimalist design fits the bill. In this case, interiors are minimalist with earthen finishes, a neutral color palette with black accents, custom-made decorative lighting, and bespoke furniture. These elements impart a serene, de-cluttered environment for the guest to feel as soon as they walk in. Upon exploring further, a hidden door leads guests to the lounge and cinema room. Unlike its somber interiors, this space has a colorful, maximalist design. With bright custom mahjong sofas against the dark backdrop acoustic cladding and ceiling and desaturated nature-inspired wallcovering, this space provides an opportunity for escapism for its guests.
Two additional pavilions below the main building built upon the expansive land serve as an open gathering space. It consists of four guest bedrooms, each en-suite bathroom fostering connections with nature, with open sky bathtubs or outdoor tropical showers. Bathing spaces with clutter-free customized washbasins made of terrazzo and open-air bathtubs.
Because the building is located in a Dry climate, in order to cool the house in the summer, the wooden louvers and trees, in addition to contributing beauty to the space of each apartment, will also work its basic is to reduce direct sunlight on large glass panels and cool interior space. The roof has been designed with an extra layer of insulation. It's a layer of mesh and stone is spread over it, creating a gap with the concrete ceiling, allowing heat to be released quickly when the sun goes down.
