A 670 square foot weekend cottage and studio for an architect, a writer, and their three year old. Made of reinforced straw panels and incorporating passive house thermal techniques, making the house easy to heat and cool with one heat pump. Windows and skylights are placed to maximize sunlight throughout the day and located to enhance the changes in light through the seasons.
