The site is located in the south of Fushan Moutain with a difference in altitude of 21 meters. This structure aims to create a place for people to visit, rest and pass while connecting
the two ends of the footpath, and create a landmark location for the entire footpath.
The structure form is inspired by the “pinecones” that can be seen everywhere on the Fushan Mountain. The original intention of the scheme is to hope that the structure can blend
into the nature, just like growing in the mountain forest. The fallen pinecones carrying pine seeds also imply rebirth and hope. The shape of each floor of the structure is twisted from
the hexagon, and each floor gradually decreases upward, forming a highly rational and vivid image.
The project is concrete foundation, and the main structure is steel grid structure. The main supporting structure is formed through the inner and outer steel grid cylinders; The
system of footpath and step is formed through steel structure. The footpath cantilevered from the outer steel grid is suspended from the inner cylinder node of the steel grid with
cables. The surface layer is made of anti-corrosion wood or environment-friendly imitation wood, forming the main form of the footpath.
