Furukawashiko Paper Craft CO.LTD, a company established since 1835, produces paper products made of regional traditional Japanese paper "Mino Washi." This project consists of the company's new office building next to the company factory.
Upon the first visit to the site, the architect was amazed by the environment with the beautiful Itatori River flowing generously in front, and a mild wind drafting calmly from the mountain at the back.
Inspired by the surroundings, the office has a terrace in the middle of the building in order to allow the wind to flow horizontally through the tunnel to the river.
In the south of the L shaped building, sunlight pours through the court into the office with the pleasant sound of birdsong when the large windows are opened.
