1. The characteristics of the venue to be reached by rafting
The project is located in Xixifan on the bank of the Fuchun River in Jiande City. Hiding in the deep mountains and green forests, starting from the dock, it takes about 15 minutes rafting on the river to reach this paradise. Viewed from the outer embankment, it is like an unfolding landscape painting, showing unique tranquility and serenity.
2. Scattered settlements
Through the method of breaking up into parts and responding to various site characteristics in different forms, the buildings are embedded in the blue hills and green streams to coexist with the surrounding environment, just like a settlement scattered in the mountains and forest. From the outside, only few buildings can be seen sporadically. As entering the interior, walking through the public courtyard, there are large open-air platforms and other blank spaces, the surrounding mountain scenes are introduced one by one. Based on the design of external hiding and internal openness, the outside leaves a space for imagination, and the inside shows an unexpected scenery.
3. Ecological construction
Ecological construction located in nature emphasizes integrating the building into the nature. Therefore, the road system adapted to local conditions in the site is completed first, which facilitates the overall development of the project and is also conductive to protect the overall ecological context. Secondly, all buildings are reasonably positioned on the site, fully leveraging the surrounding scenery, so as to be closer to the surrounding environment. Finally, the earthwork generated during the construction process realizes self-balance in the site and forms a new ecosystem.
4. Creating a poetic and picturesque atmosphere
The paintings are picturesque, the poems are poetic, and the buildings integrated into nature are more poetic and picturesque. Architecture is considered to be a three-dimensional narrative of poetry and painting. With the secluded bamboo forest, the tortuous waterfront, and the leisurely birds, there is just a ubiquitous natural poetry. The circular inner courtyard of the hall is equipped with a grille. In the change of light and shadow, it blends with the surrounding mountain scenery, presenting a changing landscape painting. A tortuous route is set up in the bamboo forest, and the architectural space progresses from the entrance to the courtyard and then to the laneway, step by step, and finally reaches the interior of the building, creating an artistic conception of "Deep, deep is the courtyard", providing a private and quiet space. On the tortuous water bank, it set up a courtyard-style building, forming an atmosphere of "when the swallows fly, green stream flows around the residence". The building is set up with walls and walkways to isolate it from the public courtyard. The exterior emphasizes neighborhood communication, and the interior emphasizes privacy, which outlines the daily life scenes of "walkers are outside the wall, beautiful girls are laughing inside the wall". This is the real scene of Su Dongpo's "Butterfly and Flower".
5. Conclusion
"After staying in the restrain for a long time, it is so exciting to return to nature." Tao Yuanming's poem of Returning to the Farm to Dwell truly expresses the needs of contemporary urbanites. The poetic and picturesque vacation life is considered the core of the cultural tourism project, and our design echoes this kind of context.
