The Fritz & Macziol Asia, Inc. office interior would be a portrait of transparencies. The guiding philosophy of the design is the intent to integrate the whole office in a way that the different sectors can interact with each other, yet at the same time, have a distinct area for each department. The design of the office interior suggests creativity, openness, and comfort. Flanked with different levels of transparencies, it would simultaneously be visually open and physically enclosed. At the core of the program it would have a ‘communal spine’ that would seamlessly connect all the spaces. Consisting of the conference rooms, the main hallway, the showroom, and the pantry, the spine acts as the connective tissue that stitches the administrative, sales, and technical areas. It is an integrated space that blurs office monotony and encourages interaction among the different departments.
