YEAR
2005
This midtown Manhattan loft was converted from an open unorganized space with just two windows into a stylish one-bedroom apartment with distinct areas that shift from open to intimate. The living and dining areas open to the kitchen to create a large entertaining space. A large mullioned glass wall separates the far end of the kitchen from the master bedroom, pulling natural light deep into the loft like an interior window. Curtains behind the glass create privacy when desired. Fitted with a desk with custom wood shelves, a section of the hallway connecting the foyer to the living-dining area can be closed off with glass doors to create a quiet, enclosed room.
