Form Concept, Framing Glass Box
When deciding a massing concept, The client
had a request, that he would like to have a 3 levels
house in a 195 m2 land, The client want anopen, wide and unlimited view house, since the site location at The Green BSD is a cluster which is have an nice opened view without
house fence.
An architect have to deal with that request with make
a massing pattern based on box shape with a frame list and covered by glass,in order to create a great lighting and an unlimited view house in front
and back of the.
This Frame Glass Box, which is create the fundamental
form of the house became a Framing Glass based on a box shape.
Eye Catching with Spider Glass
On this front house designed with glass which is
rarely used for a house, it’s spider glass. Spider glass mostly used for mall
or the other big building. This is one of the request from the client, the
client wants a house that represent client’s character, stand out and extreme,
So, the house also must have that character, more extreme and stand out than
the other’s houses. The view of the spider glass also gave a gap from the others
glass, so that can produce an unlimited natural air circulationfor the entire room. And of course with that tiny gap, even mosquitos
can’t that easy to enter the house.
Strategy to keeps the
house cool, without the air conditioner
This house was designed to use natural air as it’s air
conditioner when the air conditioner isn’t on, the architect made a lot of opened space and also used the height of floor
to floor until 4,2 m high, makes the room became cooler and fresh. On the right
side of the house there is a reflect pool as the house temperature controller.
It makes the temperature of the house become lower.Besides the reflect pool can also be a great relaxing spot and a pond, the
wind will become cooler because it passes the pool.
Green Fence
Fence on the side of the house was designed as a large
vines which is will become a green fence. This fence‘s function
is as a barrier between the inside and the outside of the room .This fence
serves as a physical barrier between inside and outside space and equipped by reflect
pool, but not as a visual barrier, so the owner can still enjoy the outside
view. This Green Fence is growing gradually until it will become overgrown
after the construction is completed more than 1 year. When overgrown this vine
will be the protector of this house from the west sun. In addition to reducing
heat this fencing course will give a visual impression of the green and
refreshing view, it is interesting to be viewed everyday.
Rainbow Coat Wall
At the part of Guest room is designed to express the
owner profession as a Director of Coating company. In this wall room displayed
19 rainbow colour with colour gradation, of course that finishing material is
Coating as a main product of Owner company. Besides can be a eyecatching
element from outside house, that also can be a sample product of owner company,
so the customer who come can touch and feel the product of owner company.
Hanging Stairs
For the stairs part, Architect make the hanging stairs
for express the owner desire who wish to open, wide and
unlimited view house. This stairs made from steel structure attached to the
wall, and held by small steel rope who have a function as railing. This stairs
have a Light impression and no limiting the space, so that the space still have
a open, wide, and unlimited impression.
Warm and Natural Interior Atmospehere
With palimanan stone as a wall and Wood as a floor, thats
make a warm and natural atmosphere for Interior of this House. At the second
floor, owner can relax at living room and enjoyed the unlimited view to the
outside house with a wide window.
Garden as a Part of Home
This house have a limited site but the owner have many
needs. but the Architect still design the garden as a house part which located
at front and back of this house. At the back garden, architect use a river
stone as a wall, its made a really natural impression for this house. At the
third floor there a open space with concrete floor for the big communal outdoor
space, because the owner likes party so much. This area have a plant as a
railing, besides for physical barrier it give a green impression of this area,
that plant always grow and be a green part of the house facade.
Neon Box at Night
When a house toward a night, the neon box concept is
active, the framing glass of this house make a neon box from outside house.
Colaboration framing glass with spot light and rainbow coat wall, is really
make this house as a eyecatching element of this cluster. This like a reklame
analogy, a light from glass frame. This concept is appropriate with owner
desire which want a different and unique house from the others.

they visit the house.
