The multi-faceted project team involving the owner, BRR and the Marriott brand collaborated frequently to bring this attractive and inviting Four Points by Sheraton hotel to life. During the initial design process on the project, the Four Points brand became part of Marriott family, so as a result, it required extensive communication between the owner and the brand design on the prototypical design. During subsequent phases of the project, and using our firm’s virtual reality software, both the brand team and the owner walked through the design multiple times to review and make real-time design changes, paying close attention to key details such as ceiling heights and clearances. Additionally, the BRR team frequently worked with the general contractor to review construction details and implement cost-effective solutions when changes arose during the construction phase.
The four-story hotel features 93 guestrooms, a full-service restaurant and bar, a fitness center and business center designed with the business traveler and active families in mind. The team incorporated a combination of warm materials, including brick and stone, to blend the property in with the surrounding developments and also create a modern, up-to-date aesthetic. Additionally, the hotel features a large outdoor patio, offering multiple gathering spaces to guests, and an open play area, making it an ideal destination for families visiting the soccer complex adjacent to the property.
