We present you "FOS":
3D design by UCADP
"FOS" presents an idea, the untouchable, the immaterial. The holy light, the spirit of the sun.
The cross, the passage, with our hands open wide, into freedom. The sacral place of fulfillment.
"FOS" can be translated into a sacral architecture, an open-air chapel, a ceremonial sculpture or a Land Art installation.
Made out of stone and light, this project, a monolith cracked in two is a gesture towards simplicity and balance between the strong and the light, the visual and conceptual.
Gathering, participation or simply observance, here, have equal meanings. The landscape is the agent between personal and/or shared experience.
Walking away from the usual temples, our aim is to create a sacral monument for ceremonies, long way out of a rigid shell context. Antheming the great outdoors and the endless landscape around us, we insert into it a landmark of great commitment with our deepest feelings and beliefs. A place to remember, a future storytelling.
The cross is not anymore a religious symbol, but a kind of door into what we call "passage". We believe that the right of choice, when it comes to life decision making, has to be free from any kind of structures, social, cultural or religious. A piece of stone is more than enough to reflect our deepest emotions and wishes.
