Forest Hills Mixed-Use Development

STATUS
Concept
SIZE
100,000 sqft - 300,000 sqft
The Reform Temple of Forest Hills asked Loci to evaluate zoning options for the development of their property to help them secure the congregation’s financial future. We introduced them to one of our clients, a Queens-based developer, and started generating design schemes while working with the Department of City Planning to upzone the property. The project is currently going through the city's Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) and the new zoning is expected to be approved in early 2023. The 153-unit project will conform to Mandatory Inclusionary Housing requirements and include a new synagogue that Loci is also designing.
