Both meet above the dock, around the same structure and a common area with multiple uses.Becomes a gateway to share public space, a privileged place of contemplation of the piers and docks.A basin at the water’s edge further binds to the marina walkway overhangs. Real space full of conviviality, the basin can accommodate many activities and offers Dunkerque to get closer to the seaThe gateway, by its shape and the spaces it creates becomes a vector attractiveness and interactivity. It plays a real role in the extension of the heart of the city for many activities such as carnivals, concerts, departures sailing races or triathlon, staging exhibitions ...Visible from a wide area including the street from the General Store, the gateway is also a strong signal to the gate of the city.
