Foam Dome Home was designed in 2 weeks, and fabricated in 15 days by Seth Denizen. The Expanded Polystyrene Foam (EPS) used for this project was donated by Thermasteel Corp., manufacturer of modular EPS insulation panels. These panels were salvaged from door and window knockouts left over from past projects, and were fabricated for the dome using CNC fabrication tools at the University of Virginia School of Architecture in 2011.
