The Winter Park location of the Floyd’s Barbershop was our first commission where MDC helped create the branding for the franchise. The space was to be within an old auto garage and we used that as inspiration for the design. What developed was an open concept idea, utilizing the shop garage doors so that when in use, the barbershop could be open to the outdoors if desired. The shop also features a small retail space with custom millwork and artwork throughout the 1,200 S.F. space. This project was awarded a Winter Park city grant for the façade improvements.
