This simple pre-railroad house may have been one of the first in the area. I worked with Tampa's Historic Review Board to carefully preserve the character while doubling the square footage and upgrading the small modest house into a luxury custom home for the 21st century. An historic Oak prevented a direct rear addition, so I designed the home to surround and honor the grand tree.
