Flokiz Project – A Playful Architectural Landscape
Flokiz is conceived as an architectural landscape shaped by play, movement, and imagination. Designed around the child’s experience, the project unfolds vertically, with each level offering a distinct atmosphere and rhythm.
The lower level immerses children in a darker, sensory-driven environment dedicated to interactive play, where architecture becomes an active participant in the experience. Playful forms and spatial sequences invite exploration, while dedicated birthday rooms extend this logic of movement and shared energy.
At ground level, the space opens around a central cabin set within a large ball pit, conceived as a social and visual focal point. Creative areas and informal seating naturally gravitate around this core, while a climbing net weaves through the building, connecting floors through a playful vertical journey.
Above, the project transitions into a calmer register, with spaces designed for pause and focus — a yoga area, a library, and a dedicated zone for toddlers.
The architectural approach balances playfulness and restraint. Soft curves, generous volumes, and a nuanced color palette define each space, creating a joyful yet refined universe that avoids overtly literal references to childhood.
