The creation of FloatWing® came from the desire to meet a growing need for people to move away periodically from the hustle and bustle of day to day life of big cities, their willingness to engage in leisure activities and responsible fun, to enjoy the week-end spirit, to approach the nature, without giving up a good deal of comfort.
Our reflection, which could have led to the mountain haven, the lighthouse, the isolated mill, the forest hut, went to get a little of each of these elements, adding the mobility and adopting the principles of prefabrication, modularity, energy autonomy and environmental sustainability. All this resulted in the creation of a product that in many respects is highly innovative: a floating house that produces 30 to 90% of the energy it requires over the annual cycle and reduces up to 100% the organic load of its wastewater, which allows living with all the security and comfort over a lake surface, moving at a moderate speed of 4 knots, choosing every day, if that is the will, a new location for anchoring, and making it the starting point for a number of water sports, or simply the world's best place to sunbath, to see the stars or to rest.
