Restaurant environment plays a major role in the dining experience of a patron as food & décor are strongly related to a high rating by customers, than just service. A pleasant décor, soft lighting and appropriate colours elucidate a favourable response from diners. Also, young people prefer bright, strong colours, whereas adults mostly enjoy their meals in weak, unobtrusively coloured environments. Hence, it was imperative for us to use this knowledge & come up with décor solutions for all age groups. We have used a blend of natural materials in warm browns with earthen tones for decor to achieve the desired look. Carefully planned seating arrangement, soft ambience and elegant décor style – all can been seen in the design of this restaurant.
The design of the restaurant was aimed at enhancing the dining experience of its patrons. The layout facilitates seamless work-flow between diners and staff. We wanted to create a diner to accommodate 110 people with a good amount of space between them and provide privacy for large & small groups. Our elegant design and earthen colour palette provides a warm and relaxed atmosphere that one sees in English restaurants, while the décor is based on Indian contemporary design. Lighting in the heart of the space is indirect, hence the ambience is intimate and inviting. The use of natural materials such as wood, stone, leather and linen has complemented the surrounding natural environment beautifully.
The design style is modern contemporary. Creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere was of utmost importance while designing this restaurant. The use of earthen tones makes the place look inviting, while the careful use of lighting creates the ambience of a fine-dine restaurant. An interesting aspect of the decor is the use of natural materials like wood, stone and fabric. Sound absorbing elements like wooden ceiling, acoustic ceiling sheets and decorative fabric panels on the wall ensure that overpowering sounds are eliminated.
