Flats Rua da Alegria

STATUS
Concept
The program aims to reconvert a XIX century building, of the Liberal period, into a number of several small flats. The proposal tries to keep all the original features of the building adapted to the functional requirements of the program. The original pavements, ceilings, doors and windows will be maintained or recovered. A volume has been created on the rear facade for the placement of the new kitchens and pantries. Inside the building some essential functional areas were developed, such as bathrooms and storage spaces. All other rooms assume its original features, controlled by removable elements that allow different occupations and greater versatility.
