Caton Flatbush Gardens is a project designed in response to a Request for Proposal issued by the New York City Economic Development Corporation. The site, located in Brooklyn, is currently occupied by the Flatbush Caton Market, a year-round market staffed by local vendors, and a surface municipal parking lot.
This concept proposes the construction of a new 175,698 gross square foot mixed-use building. The uses will consist of first floor commercial space, second-floor community use space and six stories of affordable and market rate residential rental units above the commercial and community use spaces, with a variety of passive recreational spaces available to the community facility and residential uses.
Project was designed in 2014.
