Henning Larsen Architects, in collaboration with the Australian Wilson Architects, has won the flagship education precinct for Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
The educational precinct will contain the new teaching building for the Faculty of Education, the Oodgeroo Unit and E Learning services and will promote a strong identity for Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and position the university at the forefront of tertiary education studies in the region. The project will set a new benchmark for contemporary, sustainable and educational design;

The new building will be connected to the existing library as well as the surrounding landscape, creating areas for studying, teaching and social spaces, as well as creating a seamless transition from interior to exterior campus life. The extensive landscaping will be executed in collaboration with a’s pre-eminent landscape architects, will make a strong connection to the Kelvin Grove Community.
