In St. Petersburg, at 34 Gorokhovaya Street, the first Fjord jewelry store was opened. The two-level space combines a designer jewelry store and the eponymous specialty coffee shop.
According to the authors of the project, Polina Lugovskaya and Nikolai Pustavov, the main task of the space was to reflect the brand's aesthetics and visually rethink the name. The main motives were the mirror-like surface of the water and low northern vegetation, which are reflected in the finishing materials.
The interaction of the store space with the visitor begins from the first step at the entrance: even from the street, it is impossible not to notice the design of the led-ceiling of the first level, which turns it into an alien ship.
Through a giant translucent arched display window we see green walls erected at an angle, which "drag" into the store. The process finds development in the tactile fur arch.
The choice of a minimalistic white room with bright accents, first of all, was associated with the specifics of the product itself, since the project specializes in decorations without inserts with many reflective surfaces: the Fjord space combines the interconnection of clear geometric lines and smooth curves, airy light space and active color.
This is the fourth store of the brand, but the street retail format for the team is new.
P. S.: dog friendly space.
