Situated in the picturesque southern slope of the Galtee mountains, this private residence pays homage to the vernacular and heritage of the Irish countryside. The dwelling form harkens back to a time when needs were simpler. The overall design is driven by a number of sustainable strategies to both optimize energy efficiency and reduce this building's carbon footprint.
The elements that form this house are inspired by typical rural farm buildings arranged in a manner to provide a harmonious composition with it's surroundings
