The design concept of FIRE at W Bali is based on the ancient Balinese Kecak Dance. Colors are black, white, yellow and red.
A 'poleng cloth' marble counter surrounds the open theatre-kitchen, and a smoldering fireball chandelier takes center stage. The ceiling is a radial pattern of timber slats, with a burnt finish. Black terrazzo and textured Java Gold stone 'anchor' the space to earth.
Wake up to an interactive breakfast with freshly baked delights, favorite Asian flavors and modern creations as gourmet coffees and teas ease you into the day. Things heat up throughout the day with a wood-fired grill and pizza oven at heart of the open show kitchen, where you can watch chefs take the spotlight and sizzling culinary sensations to a fiery finish. From gourmet pizzas to freshly sourced fine meats and seafood to stir-frys in the wok, a plethora of sides with lots of kick will keep your main attractions in good company. Think signature roasts carved tableside, such as a master Kobe striploin with a marble score of 9 and grain-fed Black Angus prime rib aged for 200 days. Cool off with the Liquid of Fire, our signature cocktail dramatically mixed with infused vodka, dried dates, sage leaves, fresh chili, Gomme syrup and curry powder for a sweet and sour pre-dinner aperitif with kick.
Everyone can have fun dining at Fire, from a children's menu for the wee ones to a choice of two private dining rooms featuring degustation menus. Or you can design your very own sensational experience when you collaborate on that perfect platter with our chefs. To complement, select one of our thoughtfully curated wines and champagnes from the extensive collection in the cellar tower. Topping off your experience is a dramatic chandelier that's the center of attention, as strong reds, yellows, blacks and whites stream through marbles inspired by local black and white poleng cloths and pendant lamps, invoking the spirit of the fire-themed kecak dance. Horse-skin adorns the walls, a daring setting for soaring wooden seating flanked by bright red and yellow chairs. An outdoor al fresco area is all about dining under umbrellas and palm trees with cheerfulness all around.
When you want to stay out of the limelight, make it an intimate occasion for up to 16 people in your circle. Concealed within a stunning feature of cascading water over glass-mounted windows, the stylishly minimalist temple grey walls are an extension of Kecak design inspiration from Fire. A marble counter in black and white checks symbolize traditional Poleng fabrics, and the timber ceiling is constructed to represent a bonfire arrangement.
