Finix Solar Energy is not only an office building but also a showroom serving for solar cell products. We created the concept from the characteristic of solar energy itself plus the corporate’s name (Finix) which is the immortal phoenix rising from the ashes, soaring to the sky. It is similar to infinitely renewable energy of solar cells. In terms of colors relating to this story, dark tone colors contrasted with orange (corporate’s color) were brought into the project. Moreover, the form of phoenix’s soaring wings were transformed into diagonal lines to help create the architectural language of the façade and other elements.

In addition, OS collaborated with solar cell expert team consider about details both the roof type and angle of the building to keep harmonized with the concept and to demonstrate the potential of using solar cells as much as possible.
