The main concept idea of the project is a radical change of the Pushkinskiy cinema exterior appearance with maximum conservation it as monument of Constructivist architecture. This is achieved by the ingeniously designed awning, which is partly covering the building. This dominant intended to attract the attention of adjacent areas and is an overhang above the accessible roof.There are three functional zones on the roof: a viewing platform at the centre of Moscow, a venue for various events and the green area. Spatial construction of the steel structure canopy trimmed with perforated metal panels and glass. LED screens embedded into the construction of the canopy illuminate the entrance zone and work as an information board.The project aimed to bring a new life to the cinema building and make it more convenient to premiere shows and the Main Russian Film Festival events.Used materials:• Glazing technology – Duponttm SentryGlas® • Exterior walls coverings – Duponttm Corian®• Metal Structure Coatings – Duponttm Alesta®
