The Qatar 2022 Bid Committee awarded PROPROJEKT and AS&Pthe task of developing the Qatar 2022 bid. The result of the work, starting mid of 2009, was the 20 theme comprising bid book. Together with about one dozen files of technical details, contracts and official guarantees, the 750-page bid book has been submitted to FIFA as basis of their final decision. Starting with the fundamental concept development through to the provision of the entire content, the consulting services covered among others the technical planning aspects of the stadiums, transportation, accommodation and finance while also including soft criteria such as football development in the Middle East, environmental protection and social development. To convince the technical evaluation commission of the concepts, PROPROJEKT furthermore supported the official FIFA Inspection Visit mid of September 2010.
