The inspiring principle of the project is a gigantic roof capable of making homogeneous and uniting the pole of Fiera di Vicenza. This vast and complex surface, similar to a precious tissue, as well as accomplishing typical structural suspension functions of both the new floors and facades, behaves as a big shading system which allows the fitting of an important integrated photovoltaic field. The system of facades constitutes the completion of the entire architectural theme: the great formal simplification of these elements permits the enclosure of the spaces in a simple and functional manner through transparent, filtering and mat surfaces.
