The constructor searched for the office with the aim of carry out a residential building in an upscale neighborhood of São Paulo. In total there are 15 units with a possibility of different internal arrangements. The ground floor has a backyard, garden and pool; on the first floor, both apartments have spaces for gardens. The two duplexes of the penthouses have generous open areas. Setting the building to the initial slope, the two parking levels emerge, thus the ground floor is two stories above street level. One block from Reinach Mendonça Office, this residential building was implemented close to a cul-de-sac that interrupts Fidalga street in a location possessing a privilege view. As the building is located on a lot at the center of the block, the design defined as a key strategy, all apartments ought to permanently enjoy the panoramic view that opens up to the west. Thus, a staggered form was created through an imaginary east-west line (where the vertical circulation and common areas of the standard storey are found) with two units per floor, in the south and north quadrants. They are of different sizes: the smaller units (141 meters square and three parking spaces) are in the south; to the north, the larger units (183 square meters and four spaces); they all have a storage space in the garage. As a result, both received good illumination and benefit from the view. The face which benefits from the best view also receives an excess of sunlight, thus special protection needed to be devised. Galvanized steel louvers forms two vertical edges that preserve the lateral of the veranda and window of the living area. These metallic elements, besides giving expression to the project, preserve the intimacy of the units, minimizing visual contact amongst the living areas of the apartments.
