Overview:
With over 35 million yearly passengers, Toronto Pearson International Airport is one of North America’s busiest airports. Eleven new restaurants slated for 2013 and 2014 openings showcase restaurateur OTG’s revolutionary and unique concept for a new airport dining experience; redefining what it means to travel in comfort and style. The restaurants combine striking designs, integrated cutting edge technology with Toronto celebrity chef menus of delicious food offerings in full service stand-alone structures.
Award winning New York designers Icrave, and visionary restaurateurs OTG Management, contracted Toronto-based Eventscape to engineer, fabricate and install one of the first restaurants, the Fetta Panini Bar, a 36 foot long x 23 foot deep, compound curved canopy structure, built of wood and steel with integrated mechanical and electrical functions.
Description:
The Fetta Panini Bar features a 36 foot long x 23 foot deep compound curved canopy structure of steel and wood construction with stainless steel trim. Maple wood veneer finishes the interior of the canopy, CNC laser cut to match the curves. The integrated wine steel shelving with blackened powder coat finish can hold up to 1000 lbs of bottles. The wrap around counter and seating area is built of wood and finished with stainless steel and incorporate both plumbing and electrics with stainless steel foot rail and Corian countertop.
