The chalet of singular coinage situated directly at the lakeshore of the Swiss town Thun. The floor plan is accorded new references to the outdoors in the form of continuous window openings in order to give more emphasis to the local panorama of water and mountains, which should become part of the home design. The repositioning of the stair effects a more spacious room landscape in the ground floor and regulates the attic floor. The raising of roof and extension on the uphill side enable four genuine sleep rooms. The displacement into the asymmetrical position and the transformation of the object by adjoining rooms give the house from the 1960s an unconventional and independent figure: a chalet of a modern type.
