Extension and refurbishment of existing detached residence. PH Partnership designed and implemented significant changes to the existing property, which included excavation of a large undercroft basement area which was previously unused. This was converted into habitable space to incorporate a new entrance and Cinema Room, with a double height glazed extension to the front. This formed a cathedral like space with mezzanine lounge to emphasise light, space and views.
New staircases were inserted into the galleried areas to link the upper landing levels. PH Partnership designed and detailed the scheme in 3D to convey intentions to the client. This also included the design of two specialist staircases in 3D to suit the allocated budget and ensure these met with client requirements.
The project also included lighting and interior design consideration. All works were incorporated into the existing property and linked to a landscaping scheme to the rear, to provide a large illuminated decked area accessed via bi-fold doors
