Fay House is the original historic structure for Radcliffe College dating back as far as the early
1800’s. This complete historic renovation replaced all interior systems and reconfigured the
interior spaces to be used as the new administrative center for Radcliffe College. All lighting was upgraded to modern fluorescent and integrated LED sources with a building wide addressable control system. This system used motion sensors, daylight sensors and individual wireless controllers to maximize user satisfaction and optimize energy savings. The comprehensive system can be monitored from outside the building by Harvard facilities staff for further load shedding and control adjustments as needed in the future.
Fay House was awarded LEED Gold.
