The Martínez Cubí pharmacy project arises from the transfer of a premises on one corner of the street to the opposite corner, taking advantage of the L-shape of the new space as a central design element. The objective is to create a functional space that meets clinical and administrative requirements, while maintaining a clean and attractive aesthetic. Based on a holistic approach, the project is divided into five key elements that together make up a comprehensive and coherent solution.
Glass L: This element organizes the space by dividing the public areas (sales area) from the private ones (laboratory, services and storage). The L, made of translucent glass, allows partial visibility between the areas, reinforcing the idea of cleanliness and luminosity while acting as a centerpiece of the design.
The presence of color: White dominates the space, providing a neutral base that highlights the products. As a contrast, apple green is used on counters and display cases, creating focal points that stand out within the overall design.
Reflections: Strategically placed mirrors on the ceiling and display areas visually expand the space and multiply the perception of the apple green color. In addition, oblique mirrors delimit and emphasize specific areas such as nutrition, cosmetics and children's, highlighting the products on display.
Order: Storage plays a crucial role, with shelves and drawers that combine functionality and accessibility for workers. In the center of the space, a rotunda-type structure organizes the flow of customers, acting as a sales point that encourages impulse purchases.
Bubbles in the window: Divided into two areas according to the facades, the window combines functionality and visual attraction. A smaller section presents featured products and offers visibility to the interior, while the main section includes a double-sided cabinet with lime green half spheres for featured products. Blue vinyls inspired by chemical formulas complement the design.
The combination of these elements not only organizes the space according to regulations, but also creates an attractive and unique environment for customers. The integration of materials, colors and functionalities allows the design to be more than the sum of its parts, achieving an efficient, clean and visually striking space.
