This project primarily comprised of remodelling the facade of an existing residential building in Santacruz, Mumbai. The refurbishment treatment
has been divided into three essential
components: the Base, the Body and the Crown of the structure.
The Base of the structure is clad with ‘Copper White’, flamed and river washed granite.
The main Body is finished in pure white plaster, broken by elevational elements made of natural ‘Cumaru’ wood decking planks with air slits in
between allowing free air circulation. These also serve as a visual cover for the AC units. The planks are back-lit allowing light to percolate through the gaps giving it an absolute aesthetic
appeal. Similar treatment is extended upto the Crown.
