For the Facebook India (Meta) office located in DLF Ataria, Gurugram, we provided smart lighting controls for all fours floors. The installation blends aesthetically pleasing designs while optimizing smart lighting to enhance productivity and reduce cost and
carbon footprint. All the areas adjoining the windows have “daylighting” that allows the system to monitor and control the light output from lighting fixtures based upon natural light.
All the workstations have Wireless Occupancy Sensors, so lights turn on and off according to occupancy. They were complemented with multiple combinations of Wireless Picos like 4 Scene Button and 3 Button in the conference rooms, games area, and cabins. This helped increase or decrease light intensity at the time of the day and the mood. Dual Picos are wall-mounted in the cabins, conference rooms, etc. to simplify tasks. A Quantum processor is the heart of the system, which operates all the lights with a click of a button or via time clock enabled scenes. The central system allows connectivity to BMS and also allows the end-user to not only monitor and control lighting but also to measure the energy saving in real-time The total automation cost for this project was about Rs. 1 crore.
