Fabritecture was selected to deliver a $3.4M contract for the full turn-key design, and construction of a custom fabric structure, to serve as an interim lecture theatre at Macquarie University in Sydney.
Fabritecture’s vast scope for the development included construction of the 700m2 theatre as well as tiered seating for up to 500 students, a fully integrated, state-of-the-art, IT and audio visual system, LED dimmable lighting, male and female amenities, a plant room, IT room, storage room, service corridors and an entrance foyer. The structure is fully air conditioned (and insulated to meet BCA Section J standards) with CCTV security systems.
