F21 Interior design & revitalisation of an existing apartment
F21 is a realized interior design concept for a 150² apartment of a fin de siècle building in Kronberg, close to Frankfurt am Main.
Although of generally very good structure, the interior organization and functional relation of the existing apartment appeared, due to an annex of the 1980th as dissected.
Besides the interior design of bathrooms and living spaces, the concept reorganizes the spatial configuration of the apartment. The entrance situation and adjacent corridor are reinforced as central distribution hub by introducing a guiding organizational principle. This is established by a guiding furniture showcase element that leads to the light-flooded living space. It´s surface are treated with high-class furniture finishes and the usage changes gradually from wardrobe, through hidden functions to an open kitchen.
