F-House is a house for a family of 4 people neighboring a pond and a small forest. Our key ambition was to create a functional, in-vogue and laconic interior that provides privacy, yet, in every way, overlooks the surrounding nature. A semi-enclosed courtyard is formed by the U-shaped configuration of the house, and panoramic glazing lets nature into the house. It was crucial for our customers that the interior space was practical and minimalistic. The latter plays a role of a clean base, not filled with unnecessary details, which the owners will enrich with memorable and dearest things. The palette of the materials and shades is selected as delicately as possible and reveals itself through the texture. Natural shades and materials occupy a particular place in the house. For instance, wooden elements made of oak veneer coincide with the façade finishing and connect the exterior and interior. The basic palette is complemented by complex color spots of furniture, textiles, and paintings. In comparison to the first floor, the second floor is designed in richer colors. This brightness gets smoothed by the natural environment that gets inside through the windows. It creates a feeling of warmth and the effect of complete immersion in a naturally peaceful environment.
