The Wieland-Werke AG are opening a new extrusion press line with associated buildings at their plant at Vöhringen. The new press is capable to produce rods, profiles and pipes in varying lengths from brass studs cast in their own factory. After the initial pressing process, these products will be temporarily stored in an automated store until they will be further proecessed in the plants at Vöhringen or Donautal. this building project consisted of the new production hall, measuring 270m (l) x 28m (w) x 15m (h).directly adjacent, we realized a new maintenance workshop with offices and workers´spaces including changing rooms, showers and general purpose room. Scherr+Klimke AG supervised the project overall planning from initial sketch design through to realization and handover to the client.
