The existing house was built in the 50’s, with 2 additions being (poorly designed and) built by previous owners. The kitchen/breakfast area was inadequate, as was the master bedroom suite. Both poorly built additions were removed, and the house was completely gutted inside along with all roofing, siding & trim being removed.
2 story additions were built on both sides of the house, along with a 1 story addition to the rear. The new first floor plan allows for a large kitchen & breakfast area, a family room, dining room, living room and a mud room which provides access to a new garage.
The new second floor plan allows for a master bedroom suite with a cathedral ceilings and a small balcony to the rear. The hall bath is remodeled, while both kid’s bedroom’s are enlarged and remodeled. An unfinished attic space above the garage creates much needed storage space which is easily accessible.
New materials consist of asphalt shingle roofing, cedar shingle siding, PVC trim, and paneled shutters.
