GREEN LINEAL SYSTEM
The objectives of the Project are:
1. Create a linear system of equipments that relates itself with the three muelas, “la muela del Casco Antiguo”, la muela del Ensanche, and “la muela del Pinar”. The new park will be the element of union between the three muelas.
2. Revitalize the area of the river equipping it with activity related to the sport and to the leisure and keeping at the same time the natural and wild character of the river.
3.Give back the natural space of the river of Turia to the city of Teruel creating a urban park and a system of service and infrastructure which, related to the city centre by the stairs of “Paseo del Ovalo”, guarantee a strong relation between the city and the nature.
4. Make up a new urban front of the city of Teruel which relates itself with the city and with the park and that hold a balanced dialogue with ambos.
5. Create new urban ambits and space to work and to live in close relation with the nature
6. Build a sustainable district thanks to its relation with the landscape and its implantation on the territory.

The first intervention consists in eliminating the physical barrier, constituted by the lines of the train, between the city centre and the area of the river. The train lines will be reordered and partially interred. A new square will take form that, connected to the city centre by the stairs of “Paseo del Ovalo”, will represent the new Access door to the new linear park.
Coherently to an intervention of this scale the project proposes to realize a new urban pole that is formed by varies mix-use building as hotel, office, cultural, education, housing. These building dialogue with the existing building of the city, joining the height of the neighbouring building, and project themselves forward the park, the natural space, the river.
The lineal park develops itself along the river and it is made by areas and pavilions dedicated to the sport, the relax, the agriculture. A system of path draws and orders the layout of the park.
The project proposes as well to improve the connection of the park with the other two muelas, the “muela del Ensanche” and the “muela del Pinar” through a system of walkway, stairs, and lift.
