Tafalera Numancia
Numancia Tafalera is a natural landscape unit deformed and disconnected to each other and with their environment; a land structure fully disordered with many social and security problems a degraded neighborhood that tends to continue to expand.
An environment with high potential town planning, landscape marked by its topography and the natural elements, the High of Tafalera and the High of San Miguel for their surrounding and closeness to the historical, administrative and commercial city. For its visual relationship with the garden surrounding the river Vinalopó that is the most important in size but not in use. For having the northern access to the city: Paseo de Mora. It has an adequate provision of equipment and a virgin area for terciatry.
It has a border with a high vocation of centrality and an opportunity for the city and its habitants to reconnect with nature and have a nice and healthy city.
The overall strategy
The proposal aims to guide the action necessary to bring the environment to their own potential, with a functional, technical, social, cultural, and in a environmental sensitivity to the place in order not to affect its sustainability over time, in an exercise where it puts at the same level the citizens' interests, economic interests of the real estate market, mutual benefits and sustainability and cultural identity of the place, a management model where the government acts as a facilitator of development.
With a high potential to host the largest green space and outdoor recreation at a City scale and from the criteria of diversity, individuality, uniqueness and mixty harmonized in certain structural systems on an urban scale, and it’s proposed the completion of the strategic potential areas.
Optimize rather than expand, clean up, restore and consolidate.
A mix of urban functions, tertiary, offices and housing (grouped and scattered, with a private development and official protected units, single, in a block and height) and a large network in all the levels of public spaces, they ensure sustainability, urban, economic, social and environmental of the proposal.
The nature and the public space rebirth from the foundations of the degraded areas, and penetrate into the neighborhood setting in conjunction with the topography and the urban structures. A new urban border, a soft and liveliness limit, an open and permeable front.
