The existing "Alutus" cinema was transformed in a Cultural Center taking the name of the very celebrated Theater author Eugene Ionescu, born in Slatina. This include a theater (200 places), 2 cinemas (50 places each), an exhibition with Eugen Ionescu portraits, a coffee shop and few hotel-like rooms for visiting actors. It was taken in account a maximum flexibility of places to adapt them to as much as possible kind of spectacles, this including use of movable partitions to limit the scene area in the theater hall. Facades are realized in ventilated system (Trespa panels and Faveton gress tiles). Accoustics was solved with cladding interior walls (cinemas and theater halls) with Topakustik planks.
