The new housing complex appears at the site of old Hotel Estoril-Sol, a
building of 20 floors from 1960's, which was demolished to make way for
new construction.
For its large volume and visibility on the seafront, the
complex establishes a new relationship with its surrounding territory,
reshaping and qualifying this important entrance to the village of
Cascais.
The 15-storey buildings are founded on a common platform that
hosts access, services and leisure areas. Its 110 rooms stand out for
the large variation and typological careful detailing.
