h2o designs was approached by the client to provide a complete design for their newly constructed backyard in north-west Melbourne. The focal point was the custom water feature which could be seen from inside the house. We incorporated the style of the house into the detail of the decorative columns and mirror backdrop.The final design utilised many h2o designs components to create a luxurious outdoor entertainment space which exceeded the client's expectations. The modular wall panels replaced the existing wooden fence to bring a sense of cohesion between the various elements and overall style of the house. The custom water feature was designed to convey tranquility while the imported Italian urn and decorative mirror backdrop created interest to the simple yet elegant piece. KUBE Series planter boxes allowed for creeper to grow along the walls in the corner alcove complete with an outdoor cushioned seating space. A VWall vertical planter box makes use of the smaller side wall and provides additional greenery to the backyard. All components were prefabricated modular with LICOM76tm, a lightweight concrete composite, and complementary materials for efficient transportation and installation on-site.
